"When I stay at a hotel, I judge it not so much the rooms as quite honestly they're pretty standard. I judge more by the people that work there, and this place has a couple of absolutely stand-out employees who not only deserve a compliment but a raise as well. "With all the phony "fix up the the front and inside lobby" area, but not the rooms trick nowadays, was not sure what to expect. Was I Very Pleasantly Suprised! VERY nice room and cleaned to a Tee. Either is a new building or remodeled from top to bottom. Fantastic selection on breakfast, a better price than down the road, and quiet as well . Great Job ! Would stop again if ever in area ! "Not worth the $200 a night I had to pay, but it's a nice place. Room and furniture damage is very minimal, everything was clean, staff was very nice. Breakfast was a little lack luster. This would be $60 or $70 cheaper anywhere else but I'm assuming they inflate the rates because of the proximity to the racetrack."
